Of what am I, a silent clue,

Yet in your grasp, I come to you.

In darkness deep, I softly gleam,

A guiding light, a hopeful dream.

What am I?

In the depths of night, where shadows roam,

A weary heart finds solace, not alone.

For in the verse of ancient psalm, it’s shown,

The promise of goodness, brightly shone.

“Had I not believed,” the words resound,

In faith’s embrace, true treasures found.

Through trials fierce, like Job renowned,

The soul holds fast, on solid ground.

Ericksonian whispers, gentle and deep,

Guide the mind from doubt’s dark keep.

To realms unseen, where dreams do leap,

And faith’s bright flame, forever seep.

Neuro-Linguistic patterns, rearrange,

Perception shifts, as thoughts exchange.

From despair to hope, in soul’s exchange,

The land of the living, in faith’s range.

A hypnotic metaphor, the butterfly’s flight,

From cocoon to sky, in dazzling light.

So too does faith, in darkness ignite,

Revealing the path, through darkest night.

Psalm 27:13, a beacon strong,

Guiding hearts to where they belong.

In faith’s embrace, we sing the song,

Of goodness seen, when faith is strong.

Thus, let us journey, with steadfast grace,

Through life’s trials, in every place.

For in belief, we find our space,

To see the goodness, in every face.

Psalm 27:13 in the Hebrew transliteration reads, “לוּ־לֹא הֶאֱמַנְתִּי לִרְאוֹת בְּטוּב־יְהוָה בְּאֶרֶץ הַֽחַיִּים׃” which translates to “Had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Now, let’s delve deeper into this verse to explore its profound meaning and significance.

Thesis: Through unwavering faith, one can perceive the benevolence of the Divine even amidst life’s trials and tribulations, harnessing the power of Ericksonian hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to transform perception and actualize spiritual truth.

Supplemental Material and Scriptures:

  1. **Story of Job**: Job endured immense suffering but maintained his faith, eventually witnessing the restoration of his blessings. This narrative illustrates the concept of faith amidst adversity and the eventual manifestation of divine goodness (Job 42:12–17).

2. **Hebrews 11:1**: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” This verse emphasizes the essence of faith as the foundation for experiencing the unseen blessings of the Lord.

3. **Ericksonian Hypnosis**: Just as Erickson used indirect suggestions to bypass conscious resistance and induce trance states, faith operates beyond the realm of empirical evidence, guiding individuals to perceive the unseen realities of divine favor.

4. **Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)**: NLP techniques such as reframing can help reinterpret challenges as opportunities for growth and divine intervention. By rewiring cognitive patterns, individuals can align their beliefs with the promise of God’s goodness.

5. **Hypnotic Metaphor: The Butterfly Effect**: Like the butterfly effect, where a small change can lead to significant outcomes, faith initiates a ripple effect of blessings, transforming perception and reality.

Levy’s. craft of a narrative:(Lesson/perspective)

In the depths of despair, a weary soul found solace in the ancient words of Psalm 27:13. Through Ericksonian hypnosis, the hypnotist guided the individual to access the reservoirs of faith deep within. As the trance deepened, the subconscious mind opened to the possibility of divine intervention, transcending the limitations of the physical realm.

In this altered state, the individual journeyed through the story of Job, identifying with his trials and triumphs. Through the lens of faith, suffering was reframed as a pathway to spiritual elevation. With each hypnotic suggestion, the belief in God’s goodness grew stronger, anchoring the soul in unwavering trust.

Drawing from the principles of NLP, the hypnotist facilitated a cognitive shift, where challenges were no longer perceived as obstacles but as opportunities for divine grace. Like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon, the individual embraced the transformative power of faith, knowing that every trial was a prelude to the manifestation of God’s goodness.

In conclusion, Psalm 27:13 serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us that faith is the key to unlocking the abundance of blessings hidden in the recesses of the unseen. Through the synergy of Ericksonian hypnosis and NLP, we can transcend the limitations of the physical realm and perceive the benevolence of the Divine in the land of the living. As we embark on this journey of faith, let us echo the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
